Prior to an album’s release, the band’s still have to practice the songs, don’t they? Well, now you can hear rawer versions of tracks off of Saves The Day’s newest album, Under The Boards. I’d say more, but why would I when we already have a review hashed out for you?Click here to read our review of Saves The Day’s Under The Boards!

Daphne Loves Derby - Stranger Acoustic

Daphne Loves Derby - “Stranger (Acoustic)”

When Daphne Loves Derby was first making waves being an independent band that had captured the hearts of fans everywhere with their self-released acoustic and indie music, I was unimpressed. I didn’t find them to be all that unique or as great as everyone made them out to be. But when their first album came out, my thoughts changed completely. I soon found myself in love with Daphne Loves Derby’s music. “Stranger” is their recent PureVolume treat that they gave to fans as a thank you present. Available for a limited time on their site, it will now be available on Redefine for maybe a less limited time! Enjoy this acoustic treat, even if “acoustic” to Daphne Loves Derby doesn’t sound all that much different from ther usual!

Anadivine - “The 4 Fit”

As a huge fan of Anadivine’s self-titled EP and their first full-length, Zoo, I am always excited for news about the band that is constantly shifting between breaking up and getting back together. In fact, it’s really kind of confusing as to what the story is with the current band. As the story goes, Anadivine broke up after releasing Zoo (this was verified by a Militia Group publicist). Then they got back together and replaced guitarist Mike Saracino with former vocalist Mike Cashen. Then they released a couple songs, such as this one, and again have disappeared off the radar, leaving fans here, there, and everywhere extremely confused. Well, I wish I had some answers for you, but I really don’t. I do, however, have a relatively new track by the band. The downside is that after Zoo, this track is really just alright. But hopefully Anadivine fans will appreciate the fact that maybe?! they are not completely dead with these occasional glimmers of hope. More news one of these days, if news ever surfaces.
