I’ve been positively obsessed with this song over the last week. For those people who have a problem with more straight-ahead minimal techno and desire a little more accessibility this may be the cure for what ails you. Like The Field and other more multivalent producers, Pantha Du Prince mixes a little bit of a shoegazey, melodic sensibility to his music that makes it, for me at least, a little more digestible than the more esoteric European techno of late. It should still satisfy the more hardcore minimal techno-heads however given the rhythmic complexity he’s able to maintain. Definitely worth checking out.
